How do I join VSA at SJSU?

We accept new members at the beginning of every semester. By submitting the membership form, paying the membership fee ($25), and signing the Title IX form, you are becoming a member of VSA. You will be able to participate in our ACE program, Culture Show, and get added to the Family system. You will also get a VSA shirt!

What is the ACE program?

ACE is an acronym for Anh/Chi/Em. Anh is the Vietnamese term for older brother, Chi is the Vietnamese term for older sister, and Em is used for any younger sibling regardless of gender. It is VSA's version of a big/little program. You can join as a big or little, though many new members join as littles. Whether you are looking for mentorship or friendship, our ACE Chair and ACE committee work hard to make the best pairing possible.

How does pairing work for ACE?

It is important to understand that you are not guaranteed a pairing when you join the ACE program. We rather have the best pairing possible for you or no pairing at all.
